No. 1:  The New England Patriots will flub the draft in its entirety due to their overall dizzy draft strategy

A previous article explained this in detail as reported by a super reporter, Mike Reiss last May but it’s good to refresh fans’ memories so they can understand why a Patriots draft is usually a flop.

Reiss had noted the following in his revelatory article about the Patriots weird draft strategy:

"For two consecutive years, Caserio has acknowledged the Patriots made draft-day moves — giving up a volume of picks they had worked to accrue — because they were running out of players to select."

Excuse me? “Running out of players to select?”

That would be from a pool of over 1000 players or so annually and the New England team has trouble finding 10 or 12 of those who fit their requirements?

Yup, that’s it.

So then you have trade-ups basically dumping valuable draft capital in order to get one of the few who are draft-worthy for New England.

Therefore, you get the Devin Asiasi’s and Dalton Keene’s of the draft. These two third-round tight ends, both of whom were traded up for, jointly amassed three catches last season.

Count on that again in late April because that’s just how they do things in Foxborough.
