Boston Bruins: 3 players with the worst luck – No.2: Zach Senyshyn

For the past few seasons, Zach Senyshyn had been stuck down in the AHL. He finally got his chance to show Boston what he could do on the NHL level this past week.

Senyshyn played against the New York Rangers this past week and looked great. He did everything that the Bruins could have asked of him and showed that he deserved a longer look in Boston.

In his last full season in the AHL, Senyshyn racked up 14 goals and 10 assists. Those numbers aren’t great for being in the AHL but that one game showed that Senyshyn could hang in the NHL.

But then Senyshyn ended up getting hurt. He has an upper-body injury and any chance of staying in the NHL seems to be gone. All that momentum that he gained with his performance is gone.

There’s no telling how long Senyshyn could be out and by that time Boston will likely be healthy. His spot on the roster will likely be taken up.

Senyshyn’s luck could not be any worse and it might end up in the Bruins moving on from him. They have given him all the chances they could have.

Bruins fans are just left wondering what if when it comes to Senyshyn’s career.
