Boston Red Sox: 3 players you must drop everything to watch in 2021 -Bobby Dalbec

If you’re not excited about Bobby Dalbec yet, get excited because he is going to be special. Dalbec has torched through spring training, turning heads nearly every game as he quickly becomes the Red Sox’s everyday first baseman for the present and future. And while his ability to learn first has been exciting, all the intrigue in Dalbec comes in the form of his impressive power.

Dalbec currently leads the Grapefruit League in home runs with seven, showing that the power that scouts have talked about for years can adjust to the major league game. And the biggest blessing for fans to get excited about is the idea that Dalbec is hitting for average right now, which should not be expected by any means, but is welcoming nonetheless.

For many fans, home runs are the reason you watch baseball or go to the ballpark. It’s the best play in the game and forever will be. Dalbec is a threat to power one every night, creating a good reason for you to drop anything and everything to watch his at-bats this season.

The 25-year-old slugger is going to show the world what he can do with his first full season in the majors coming his way in 2021, it’s simply a matter of how many though when it comes to his home run count.

His comparisons when he was coming through the minors were to the likes of a Joey Gallo, as it is a go big or go home attack at the plate. But his improvements in spring training have been noticeable and that’s why he could be even better. Time will tell, but what is certain is that Dalbec warrants your attention all season long.
