Boston Celtics: Upcoming games

Four games are on the horizon this week for Boston, with all carrying seeding implications for Boston. Three of their opponents are also jockeying for a playoff spot, so no doubt action will be heightened.

The good news for Boston is three of the four games will be at home.

First, though, is a road game at the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. Charlotte currently holds the eighth seed in the East, 2.5 games behind the Celtics. The Hornets are still without Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball, though it’s possible Ball could be back when Boston hosts Charlotte on Wednesday (4/28).

The Celtics defeated the Hornets by 30 on April 4.

Two Western Conference teams visiting Boston round out the week. Oklahoma City, who the Celtics defeated by 17 in March, visits on 4/27. San Antonio comes to town on 4/30. The Spurs, who defeated Boston by four points in January, is in 10th-place in the West.
