7 Boston Bruins who won’t return next season – Kevan Miller
In a similar vein to Kase, Kevan Miller just can’t stay on the ice. His health has caught up with him and it’s honestly time for him to retire.
Miller returned from a brutal knee injury and was able to play a decent chunk of games. The righty appeared in 28 games and was able to tally a goal and three assists.
Boston Bruins
Having Miller on the ice was a big boost to the Bruins. His physical play ensures that Boston’s stars get protected.
But Miller was once again injured when he took a high hit and was concussed in the series against the Washington Capitals. He wouldn’t return and the Bruins dearly missed him.
At the age of 33, Miller seriously has to consider if he wants to continue playing hockey. He has to consider his post-hockey life. With the number of injuries he has racked up, they have to be taking a toll on his body.
No matter if Miller does play hockey or not next season, he shouldn’t come back to the Bruins. Now that he is a free agent, Boston should just let him walk.
Miller deserves credit for returning to the ice after such difficult injuries, but it’s time for him to hang up his skates and retire.
