The New England Patriots have a big test ahead of them when the Cleveland Browns invade Gillette stadium in this Week 10 AFC battle between two teams right in the mix of the playoff race.

The Patriots, who are riding a three-game winning streak after starting the season at 2-4, are starting to get it together on both sides of the football. While the offense can still use some improvement, the defense has really stepped it up and has morphed into the strength of the team as predicted to start the season.

On both sides of the ball, Bill Belichick has developed a nice mix of veterans and younger players who are doing their job and really buying into what the team wants to do from week-to-week. Those younger players include rookies whose performances are making the 2021 draft class a good one for Belichick.

In going up against a talented Cleveland team, the Patriots will actually rely on these three rookies who will playing big roles in taking down the Browns.

3.  New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson will carry the load

After coming out Bill Belichick’s doghouse, fourth-round pick Rhamondre Stevenson has shown glimpses of being a faster version of LeGarrette Blount in this New England Patriots running attack.

Coming off his best game so far in his rookie season, Stevenson will have a big opportunity in Week 10 to really showoff his promise.

With Damien Harris out due to concussion protocols, the weight of the running game will lay on the Oklahoma product who rushed for 62 yards on 10 carries a week ago against the Carolina Panthers. He also showed off his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield with two receptions for 44 yards.

If it wasn’t for suffering his own concussion getting in the way, it looked like Stevenson was on his way to a monster game rushing the ball.

With the possibility of Trent Brown returning to the offensive line, Week 10 against the Browns could serve as a big day for Stevenson, who will share the load with J.J. Taylor and Brandon Bolden.
