New England Patriots took a big blowout win 45-7 against playoff rival Cleveland Browns. Mac Jones pinpoint passing, the return of Trent Brown and the running of Rhamondre Stevenson paid big dividends.

So did tight end Hunter Henry who caught two more touchdown passes from Mac Jones and now has seven for the season.

Trent Brown’s return can’t be overestimated as he is a dominant offensive lineman. Unfortunately, the Patriots coaching staff is still not deploying the aircraft carrier-sized lineman correctly.

Brown came back for this game and Ted Karras went to the bench. Another coaching gaffe by Bill Belichick and his offensive coaching staff.

Brown should be at left tackle when he can play and Karras at left guard with Michael Onwenu staying at right tackle.

Isaiah Wynn the left tackle is often smoked for a sack or more and the game against the Browns was no exception.

Wynn whiffed on a cut attempt against the NFL’s best pass-rusher, Myles Garrett and the inevitable sack resulted.

No surprise there. It was predictable. One of the keys to beating Cleveland was containing Garrett. Wynn could not block Garrett himself.
