1.  New England Patriots running back Damien Harris due for a big game

The most impressive part of the 45-10 thumping of the Cleveland Browns was that the New England Patriots did it without the services of their lead back, Damien Harris.

In sitting out Sunday’s victory due to concussion protocol, Harris got to stand on the sidelines and watch Rhamondre Stevenson rush for 100 yards and two touchdowns. That should be enough to motivate Harris who is expected to play on Thursday night.

The good thing for the Patriots is that Harris will be fresh for the game, so look for a heavy dose of the Alabama product to start the game.

With 547 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns so far this season, Harris has become one of the prime weapons in that New England Patriots offense.  With Stevenson showing his skills as well, the Patriots’ running attack is starting to show the rest of the NFL that they are a force.

Next. New England Patriots: 3 keys to beating the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. dark

Following back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances in Week 6 and Week 7, Harris contributed with 80 yards rushing in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers and just 30 yards on the ground against the Panthers before suffering the concussion.

While the Falcons’ run defense were able to limit the Cowboys’ running game on Sunday, expect Harris to put them to the test with his downhill running style and ability to explode through holes.

In summary, it should be a big night for a well-rested Damien Harris.
