Monday night should be a good night for the New England Patriots tight ends.

With the team looking to establish the run, both Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry will play a big role in run blocking, but on passing downs expect Mac Jones to look the way of Hunter Henry in short yardage situations and in the red zone.

Like Jakobi Meyers, Henry has become a security blanket for Jones and with the chemistry the two have developed over the past several weeks, expect the Bills to have their hands full with Henry just as much as the New England Patriots will have their hands full with Dawson Knox.

In two career games against the Bills, Henry has averaged 46 receiving yards per game. He should at least equal that in this game. It won’t be the total yards or receptions that will make Henry valuable in this game, it is when he gets those catches.

Again, Jones likes to look Henry’s way when they need a big third down coverage or in the red zone. If he wins those matchups, it will be a pretty good night for the Patriots’ offense against a Bills’ defense that only gives up 189.1 passing yards per game.

With ball control a key for Jones and the Patriots, a good dose of Hunter Henry will be a nice compliment to the run game.
