No. 5: New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy still has revenge on his mind

With Dont’a Hightower ruled out in this Week 18 games against the Miami, former Dolphins linebacker Kyle Van Noy will have an opportunity to shine down in South Beach and get some revenge against his former team.

Whatever went down between Van Noy and Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, the veteran linebacker would love an opportunity to get back at his former team and that would include making the pocket uncomfortable for Dolphins second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Van Noy enters this game with just 4.0 sacks on the season, but there is a good bet he will add to that total in this game as he will be pumped up to play well and make an impact in this game.

But overall, the Patriots’ defense needs Van Noy to start making the plays he through his first stint with the team.  As another veteran presence with playoff experience, the 30-year-old linebacker will have to be an instrumental figure in Bill Belichick’s defensive scheme if the New England Patriots are to make some noise in the playoffs.

Making a few plays down in South Beach could be the fuel that will get Van Noy’s engine reeved up just in time for the postseason.
