No. 1: New England Patriots RB Damien Harris looking for the ultimate redemption

A lot of people looked at that Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins as a divisional loss that would come back to haunt the team later in the season.

As it turned out, that loss is playing a big role in AFC East title.  If the Patriots won that game, if Damien Harris didn’t fumble as the team was driving for the go-ahead score, the Patriots would have a one-game lead in the division.

The Patriots would also have a chance to lock up the No. 1 seed with a win.

Of course, no player took that loss more personally than Harris who rushed for over 100 yards in that game, but the costly turnover led to a 17-16 loss.

So, to say this is a game of redemption for Harris would be an understatement.

In all, Harris has bounced back to have a great season.  Not only is he just 108 yards away from a 1,000-yard season, he has 14 rushing touchdowns.  As long as Harris is healthy, he will be a factor heading into the playoffs, but first he has Miami on his mind and carrying his team to victory in the final game of the season.

If somehow the New York Jets upset the Buffalo Bills, it would be quite ironic if Damien Harris ends up having a huge game in locking up the AFC East after what happened in the opening game of the season against the same team.
