The New England Patriots return to the postseason is nearly upon us. Tomorrow night, they will officially end their one season hiatus from the playoffs when they take on the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium. Excitement is certainly in the air in New England.

Despite that, this could prove to be a fairly quick stint in the playoffs if the Patriots don’t get their act together. After losing three of their final four games, New England went from the top seed in the AFC all the way down the six seed, setting themselves up for a much less favorable matchup than they were looking at about a month ago.

Not all hope is lost though; after all, the Pats did beat Buffalo in their first matchup this season, and they managed to hang around with them in their second matchup despite not playing their best football. The New England Patriots have proven to be a good team this season, but we are about to find out just how good they are now that their season is on the line.

Assuming both teams show up, this should be a hard-fought contest. The odds may appear to be stacked against New England, but they have a better shot at winning this game than most people assume. With the game drawing closer, let’s take a look at three bold predictions for the game, including a final score prediction to finish things off.
