The Boston Celtics must stop Jrue Holiday

Some people might not realize this, but Giannis isn’t the problem in this series. It’s Jrue Holiday. Think about it for a second, Celtics fans. Khris Middleton has been out for this entire series. We all know as Celtics fans how big of a break that was to get in this series. So who’s going to be the number two option? Enter Holiday.

Holiday has had a pretty good series. I give him credit, he’s better than I thought. He essentially won Game 5 for Bucks by blocking a potential go-ahead shot from Marcus Smart on one play and then stripping him on the next play to seal the game.

We all know that Antetokounmpo is probably going to get his 40 points on Sunday one way or another. There’s no doubt about that. But if the C’s can limit Holiday to 20 or less on Sunday, they would be in great shape.

I can’t see the other Milwaukee role players stepping up big time in a Game 7 being played in Boston. Maybe Pat Connaughton because he’s had a quietly good series?

Other than that, Holiday is the key guy to stop. You have the Defensive Player of the Year in Marcus Smart. All we ask is for one game, to have Marcus Smart take care of business against Holiday. That’s it.

One game for your season. Can’t wait for Sunday!
