Boston Bruins No. 2 Most Important Player- David Pastrnak

Was there ever really a doubt that Pasta was going to find his way onto the list? With the way his season has gone, I don’t know how there could be, because the man has been on fire since the first day walking into training camp.

I mean the guy is just perfect. With his hockey hair, his impeccable fashion sense, and the seemingly effortless nightly reminders of his pure goal scoring prowess, David Pastrnak is the engine that drives the Boston Bruins offense. And to top it all off he FINALLY signed his extension on Thursday.

It’s going to be fascinating to see how Pastrnak’s play is impacted by the extension. Will he slow down, no longer with anything to prove? Or will he take it to yet another level, now free of the stress of not being sure of what the future held?

If it’s the first option, that’s obviously not good going forward. The B’s need their All-World right wing firing on all cylinders if they want to win the Stanley Cup, and maybe even set a NHL regular season record along the way.

But if the second choice comes true, these next two months may be some of the most ridiculous goal scoring we’ve ever seen. I, for one, can’t wait to watch it unfold.
