3. Kenny Golladay

If the Patriots do end up getting a wide receiver, I’d like to see them take a flyer on Golladay.

If anyone needs a change of scenery, it’s Golladay. New York was never going to be a good fit for him, and the injuries didn’t help. He’s still only 29, though, and just a few years removed from being considered one of the best receivers in the NFL.

Golladay was still solid when he was on the field for the Giants — the issue was that they just didn’t get him the ball. He only saw 3.6 targets per game and caught just 46.2% of those, indicating that they weren’t usually good looks. When he did catch the ball, Golladay still averaged a solid 14.0 yards per reception.

The former Pro Bowler probably isn’t a game-changer at this stage in his career, but he’d still be a nice weapon for Jones to have. Wherever he lands, Golladay should also be highly motivated to prove his New York stint was a fluke.

The Patriots have had luck with reclamation projects before, and Golladay could be a similar story if he ends up here.
