New England Patriots rookie kicker Andy Borregales is playing for something bigger than the game of football this season, thanks to his effort to raise money and awareness for autism research and education.

In a partnership with Apex Entertainment, every field goal that Borregales makes this season will earn a $100 donation from Apex to the New England Center for Children to help secure needed funding for children with autism and their families.

Borregales hasn't missed any of his field goals since Week 1, going on to convert 13 of 14 of his attempts this season. On that note, it's worth mentioning that Borregales hasn't missed any of his extra point attempts since Week 2, going on to make 21 of 23 attempts.

The rookie has a 92.3 field goal percentage this season, which currently ranks tied for the sixth-best mark in the NFL. He also made a career-long 53-yard field goal with under two minutes remaining in the game to help lift New England to victory in Week 2 over the Miami Dolphins.

It’s important to mention that Borregales didn’t attempt any field goals for two straight games in Week 3 and Week 4. The decision to do so was due to the situation in both games and not because head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t want to see his rookie kicker get iced.

Patriots Rookie Kicker Hasn’t Missed Since Week 2

Borregales' consistency has raised $1,200 so far this season with still plenty of time to increase that total as there are nine weeks left in the regular season. He hasn't missed any of his kicks in six consecutive weeks since Week 2, and he’s showing why the Patriots used a draft pick to select him in the 2025 NFL draft.

Borregales has been active in the community since arriving in New England. He was part of a Hispanic Heritage Month Dinner hosted by the Patriots Foundation, helped promote pet adoption with the Animal Rescue League of Boston, and has done public signings for various causes in his short time in New England.

Since 2020, Apex Entertainment has donated $100 for every field goal that the Patriots converted to the NECC. Entering the 2025 campaign, the Patriots made 136 field goals, which Apex has turned into $13,600. This includes kicks from Nick Folk, Chad Ryland, and Joey Slye in that time.

Apex Entertainment and the Patriots have been in partnership over the years with former players, the cheerleaders, and Pat the Patriot for community events and game day watch parties.
