The Boston Celtics have seen several players come and go this offseason as the franchise moves forward with a new ownership group leading the charge.
While some veterans from the 2024-25 roster, Al Horford and Torrey Craig, are still waiting to decide on their next home within the NBA, one player who was let go by Boston this offseason has just landed on the roster of one of the top teams in all of Europe.
Friday morning, EuroLeague power FC Barcelona announced that former Celtics forward Miles Norris has agreed to a one-year deal with the Spanish club team.

It Took ex-Celtics F Miles Norris Less Than 2 Weeks to Join FC Barcelona
Norris joined the team mid-season on a two-way contract after spending the bulk of the 2024-25 season as a member of the Memphis Hustle G League team. A four-year college player, Norris started his collegiate career with the Oregon Ducks before spending his final three seasons with the UC-Santa Barbara Gauchos, where he earned Second Team All-Big West honors as a senior.
The former Celtic put up solid numbers in the NBA G League, which surely caught the attention of FC Barcelona, averaging 17.1 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting 38.5% from beyond the arc in 36 games with Memphis. During his time with the Maine Red Claws, Norris averaged 14.5 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 39.3% from 3-point land. His play in Maine led to three appearances for Norris on the Celtics' roster, where he averaged 2.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game.
Now, he joins an FC Barcelona roster that also features several former NBA players, including Jan Vesely, Tomas Satoransky, and Willy Hernangomez, among others. Norris is expected to provide depth for Barcelona at the forward position this coming season as he is one of three new faces joining the frontcourt.
