The NFL announced that four teams will travel to London and Germany for the 2025 season this week. The New England Patriots played in London this season as they faced the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7 at Wembley Stadium.

With that in mind, it was unlikely that the Pats would play in London for a second consecutive season. However, there was a thought New England could play in Berlin, Germany, which would be the NFL’s first game in that city.

This season, the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers played in Munich, Germany which has become an annual event over the last two years. The Pats played the Indianapolis Colts in 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, so the organization is familiar with Germany.

But it appears that the Patriots and new head coach Mike Vrabel will not have to make the trip to Berlin. According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the Colts will be the home team for the Berlin game next season.

Reiss points out that Indianapolis isn’t on New England’s 2025 schedule, so the Patriots will not see dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson and star running back Jonathan Taylor. But the Patriots will play one AFC South team next season – the Tennessee Titans.

We don’t know when that game will be, but we know there will be a lot of attention around it as it's in Nashville, and is Vrabel’s former team. The Titans parted ways with Vrabel after six years as the head coach in the 2023 season and hired Brian Callahan.

Also, the Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, while the Pats have the No. 4 overall pick, making it a battle between top picks depending on who is chosen.

New England fans cannot wait for the 2025 season to begin as they believe the Patriots have found their head coach, who can get them back on track and hopefully to the top of the AFC East.
