The New England Patriots (4-2) will go on the road to take on the Chicago Bears (4-2) on "Thursday Night Football" for their Week 7 matchup.

This game marks the first time the two teams have gone head-to-head since the Patriots defeated the Bears, 19-3, during their Week 10 matchup in 2024. This was Drake Maye's fifth career start and first full win (he technically recorded his first career win against the New York Jets two weeks prior, but he exited the game early due to a concussion; Jacoby Brissett finished the game).

Here is the full injury report for the Patriots and Bears ahead of Thursday's matchup.

Patriots' Week 7 injury report vs. Bears

  • C Ben Brown (knee) - OUT
  • CB Carlton Davis III (neck) - OUT
  • G Alijah Vera-Tucker (hamstring) - OUT
  • CB Channing Canada (hamstring) - OUT
  • T Morgan Moses (foot) - QUESTIONABLE
  • CB Karon Prunty (hamstring) - OUT
  • S Kevin Byard (chest) - QUESTIONABLE
  • LB Christian Elliss (chest) - QUESTIONABLE
  • S Craig Woodson (shoulder) - QUESTIONABLE

The Patriots' offensive line took a big hit during their win against the Jets in Week 6, with Ben Brown, Alijah Vera-Tucker, and Morgan Moses all leaving the game early due to injury. Ahead of their game against Chicago, the Patriots have ruled Brown and Vera-Tucker out, but Moses is listed as questionable. If he is unable to go, New England will rely more heavily on first-round tackle Caleb Lomu.

Carlton Davis III, who aggravated a neck injury during New England's Week 4 win against the Buffalo Bills and missed the following two games, has been ruled out once again ahead of Thursday night's game.

The Patriots have also ruled out rookie cornerbacks Channing Canada, who has been out of action since Week 4 due to a hamstring injury, and Karon Prunty, who is missing his third consecutive game, also due to a hamstring injury.

Veteran safety Kevin Byard is listed as questionable against his former team due to a chest injury, but he was a full participant in practice all week. Byard is fresh off a clutch performance against the Jets, breaking up a pass on third down on the first drive of the game and stuffing a run on third down on the very next drive.

The Patriots have also listed linebacker Christian Elliss as questionable against the Bears due to a chest injury, but he was also a full participant in practice this week. Same goes for safety Craig Woodson, who is dealing with a shoulder injury.

Bears' Week 7 injury report vs. Patriots

  • RB Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) - OUT
  • LB Jack Sanborn (concussion) - OUT
  • LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring) - DOUBTFUL
  • CB Tyrique Stevenson (hip) - QUESTIONABLE

Chicago will once again be without Kyle Monangai, who will miss his third consecutive game due to a thumb injury and turf toe. The last time Monangai suited up for the Bears, he recorded 146 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and one reception for four yards in a 23-12 win against the Jets.

The Bears have also ruled out linebacker Jack Sanborn, who is dealing with a concussion. This is his first missed game of the season.

Linebacker T.J. Edwards is listed as doubtful for Chicago due to a hamstring injury. He was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice.

Chicago has listed cornerback Tyrique Stevenson as questionable due to a hip injury. He was a full participant in practice all week.
