On Sunday, the New England Patriots (0-1) will host the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0). The two teams met last season in Week 3. Pittsburgh won 21-14, largely due to the Patriots' five turnovers that game.

Despite last season's loss, the Patriots have had the Steelers' number recently, defeating them in eight of their last 10 regular-season matchups.

Here is the full injury report for the Patriots and Steelers ahead of their Week 2 matchup.

New England Patriots Week 2 injury report

  • OT Dametrious Crownover (knee)
  • CB Carlton Davis III (neck)
  • C Ben Brown (knee)
  • DE Dre'Mont Jones (foot)
  • LB Robert Spillane (knee)
  • RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle)

Patriots offensive tackle Dametrious Crownover did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to a knee injury. Additionally, cornerback Carlton Davis III is currently dealing with a neck injury and also did not participate in Wednesday's or Thursday's practice.

New England center Ben Brown missed the team's Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks due to a knee injury he sustained in preseason. He was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday.

Patriots defensive end Dre'Mont Jones was also a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday due to a foot injury, and his status for Sunday's game is up in the air. The 29-year-old recorded a sack and two tackles during his team debut in Week 1.

Linebacker Robert Spillane was limited in Wednesday's practice, but he was a full participant on Thursday and is looking like he will be ready to go against his former team on Sunday. Spillane recorded eight tackles for New England in Week 1.

The Patriots were without running back TreVeyon Henderson against the Seahawks due to an ankle injury he sustained in August. However, he was a full participant on Wednesday and Thursday, and he will likely play against Pittsburgh, barring any setbacks. The second-year running back will bring a much-needed offensive spark to the Patriots, assuming he suits up in Week 2.

Pittsburgh Steelers Week 2 injury report

  • WR Michael Pittman (foot)
  • CB Joey Porter Jr. (not injury related/conditioning/back)
  • OT Troy Fautanu (ankle)
  • TE Darnell Washington (not injury related/personal)
  • DT Cameron Heyward (not injury related/rest)

Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury, but he did not participate at all on Thursday, putting his availability for Week 2 in doubt. In his debut with the team last week, Pittman recorded 58 yards and caught all three of his targets.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. did not suit up for Pittsburgh in Week 1 due to a back injury (and a contract dispute). He participated in Wednesday's practice before leaving early with a member of the team's medical staff and did not participate at all on Thursday. As things stand, it's looking like the California native will not suit up in Week 2 (if he ever even suits up for the team again).

Steelers left tackle Troy Fautanu sustained an ankle injury during the team's Week 1 victory against the Atlanta Falcons. He exited the game briefly before returning and finishing the game. Still, he did not participate in Wednesday's practice, though he was a limited participant on Thursday.

Tight end Darnell Washington missed Wednesday's and Thursday's practices due to the birth of his son before returning on Friday. As it stands, he is likely to suit up on Sunday. In Week 1, Washington caught both of his targets and recorded 18 yards.

Defensive tackle Cameron Heyward did not participate during Pittsburgh's practice on Thursday for rest purposes. He will likely suit up against the Patriots.
