5. Devin McCourty

Devin McCourty has played the fifth-most games of any Patriot and leads the franchise in tackles (740) and ranks third in interceptions (35). He spent 13 seasons in the NFL, all in New England (2010-22).

Initially drafted as a corner in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Rutgers, McCourty burst onto the scene as a rookie. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team, the Pro Bowl, and named a second-team All-Pro. McCourty even finished second in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting.

McCourty later converted to safety. He retired as a three-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler. Another high-character representative of the organization and team leader, McCourty was a captain for the last 12 of his 13 seasons.

McCourty went to five Super Bowls, hoisting three Lombardi Trophies. He was also named to the New England Patriots All-2010s and All-Dynasty teams.

New England safety Jaylinn Hawkins is currently donning the No. 32 jersey.
