As the calendar flips to the final full month of the regular season, the Boston Celtics have clearly established themselves as the team to beat.

Boston sits atop the NBA at 46-12, and although it has few weaknesses, what it does have is an open roster spot.

Following the Feb. 8 trade deadline, Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens said that he planned on being patient in the buyout market, and it is now clear that no one caught his eye at the time.

But with the postseason now less than two months away, Boston has to act fast to complete its 15-man roster, and it can look internally or externally to do so.

Here are three candidates for the Celtics' final roster spot:

1. Neemias Queta

Perhaps the most deserving player on this list, Queta turned a strong Summer League showing into meaningful minutes in the regular season despite being on a two-way contract.

Queta has also been dominant during his time in the G League, most recently recording 24 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in the Maine Celtics' 130-100 rout of the Westchester Knicks on Sunday.

Choosing to not elevate Queta to the official roster would prevent Boston from having him for the playoffs, and at this point, he might be too valuable to not have for what is bound to be a deep run.
