3 Celtics Who Will Be Cut Before Training Camp

With the Celtics keeping its core together from this past season, Boston won't have many open roster spots heading into the 2024-25 season.

2. Tristan Enaruna

Enaruna is another player who will likely be cut before or during training camp as he signed an Exhibit 10 deal in July.

The 6-foot-8 wing went undrafted after the 2024 NBA Draft but immediately joined the Celtics for the Las Vegas Summer League. The former Cleveland State forward didn’t play much in the summer league, but that could change later this year in the G League.

The Dutch-born forward is coming off a stellar 2023 season at Cleveland State, where he played his last two years of college basketball. Enaruna averaged 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 33.2 minutes per game.

The Celtics hope Enaruna can develop his skills this coming season in Maine as they are loaded at the forward spot. If the former Cleveland State star takes off in the NBA G League, he could snag a two-way spot with Boston or somewhere else in the NBA.
