2. Tyler Boyd

There are legitimate doubts about the Patriots' current wide receiver room. Kendrick Bourne is legit, but he's also coming off of a torn Achilles and his return is unclear. Meanwhile, 2023 draft pick Demario Douglas will now have to adjust to a new offense and quarterback, which could slow his development following a promising rookie campaign.

Then there's a whole bunch of No. 3 threats behind them, like JuJu Smith-Schuster, K.J. Osborn, Tyquan Thornto and Jalen Reagor.

A productive veteran addition is undoubtedly needed. Luckily, the more-than-capable Tyler Boyd is still on the open market.

Boyd's done nothing but produce since entering the league with the Cincinnati Bengals. He took his game to new heights with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2018-19, then posted at least 750 yards in three of the last four years.

The Bengals certainly have their reasons for ultimately prioritizing both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins over Boyd within their offense, but it speaks to the latter's playmaking that he still made a noticeable impact while competing with the others for looks.

Boyd would immediately be New England's best receiver and provide a reliable presence for a rookie quarterback in their first year, assuming that's how the Pats spend their top pick.
