3. Larry Borom, Chicago Bears

A fifth-round pick by the Bears in 2021, Larry Borom versatility could make him an attractive option for Eliot Wolf. Borom has experience at every offensive line position other than center, and he started six games at left tackle for the Bears last season.

Given Chukwuma Okorafor's disastrous performance against Washington on Sunday, New England could be looking for an insurance policy at left tackle. Okorafor was flagged three times for illegal formation on Sunday, one of which negated an impressive touchdown play by Drake Maye and drew the ire of his head coach.

In his three seasons in the Windy City, Borom has appeared in 39 games. If Chicago feels comfortable with their depth at o-line, they could be willing to move on from Borom.

Borom, 25, is scheduled to earn $3.1 million this year in the final year of his contract. For some teams, that dollar amount might be a turn off, but New England's plentiful cap space should make this a non-issue.

Borom's experience at left tackle and versatility could draw some interest from the Patriots. He is relatively young, his contract is a short-term commitment, and he shouldn't command extensive trade capital. There are several reasons this makes sense from New England's perspective.
