3. Bailey Zappe, QB

Quarterback Bailey Zappe has been put on notice for months now. Back in March, New England signed Jacoby Brissett. Then in April, they drafted both Drake Maye and Joe Milton.

Brissett is expected to be the starting quarterback in Week 1 with Maye slated to take over eventually. Milton impressed the coaching staff throughout the offseason and played well in the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Now it looks like Zappe is No. 4 on the depth chart with no signs of that changing in sight. The Western Kentucky product has started eight games for the Pats over the last two seasons and has given them a spark. But regardless, he's hit his ceiling as a player.

In 14 games with New England, Zappe has completed 63% of his passes for 2,053 yards, 11 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

Those numbers just aren't good enough and it looks like his time in New England will be coming to an end soon.
