JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

Well, wouldn't Patriots fans absolutely love it if this happened?

Smith-Schuster is still somehow on this team. After having a terrible 2023 season, the general consensus was that the 27-year-old wide receiver would be a cap casualty this offseason. But, since the Patriots didn't need more cap space, they decided to keep the once-dangerous pass-catcher around for longer.

The former Steelers man signed a three-year, $33 million deal with New England in the 2023 offseason. He followed that up with the worst season of his career as he finished with 29 receptions for 260 yards and one touchdown in 11 games.

With the addition of KJ Osborn, the return of Kendrick Bourne, and the potential emergence of Demario Douglas, the former USC star is no longer needed in New England. Finding a new home for him due to his salary might be a challenge, however.

If there is any team that thinks they could revive Smith-Schuster's career, the Patriots should trade him for whatever they can get without a second thought. All it takes is one team that still believes in him, and considering that he is still only 27 years old, he may have a suitor.
