3 Teams Desperate Enough to Sign JuJu Smith-Schuster Following Patriots Release

Los Angeles Chargers
Talk about a weak receiver corps. After their offseason of changes, the LA Chargers may have one of the thinnest WR rotations in the league, especially among teams hoping to be competitive.
The Chargers parted ways with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams in the offseason and only added DJ Chark to replace them in free agency. They also drafted Ladd McConkey and Brenden Rice but whether either of them will be ready to make an impact as rookies remains to be seen.
The rest of the rotation includes Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston, talented but inexperienced players. Chark is easily the most experienced player out of that group but he has never been the player Smith-Schuster was and he has never been to the postseason.
Adding a player like JuJu would make the transition for the rookie receivers a little easier. Smith-Schuster could eat up some snaps and make some plays while the Chargers ease McConkey and Rice into the rotation slowly.
Jim Harbaugh has mentioned his desire to be competitive in his first year in charge in Los Angeles. That will be hard to do with this young and inexperienced receiver group. Adding a veteran like Smith-Schuster could help the Chargers more than most teams in the NFL.
