4. Bailey Zappe, QB

It's been an interesting two seasons for Bailey Zappe and the New England Patriots. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and was brought in to be the backup for then quarterback Mac Jones.

Zappe ended up starting in eight games across two seasons and made some splash plays under center. He went 4-4 as a starter, tossing 2,053 passing yards for 11 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Despite showcasing he could be a viable backup quarterback in the league, Zappe's time in New England could be coming to an end.

This offseason, the Pats added three quarterbacks to the roster. In free agency, they signed Jacoby Brissett to a one-year, $8 million deal.

Then they doubled down in the NFL Draft. At No. 3 overall, the Pats selected Drake Maye then struck again in the sixth round. At No. 193 overall, New England picked QB Joe Milton from Tennessee.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Pats were fielding calls on Zappe and it's likely he'll be moved sometime this offseason.

With two rookies and a veteran signal-caller on the roster, it makes sense for the Pats to move on from the 25-year-old.

They can certainly gain an asset by moving Zappe but his tenure in New England is all but certain to come to an end.
