The New England Patriots continued looking like one of the NFL's worst teams with a 30-13 blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. The latest defeat dropped the Patriots' record to 1-3 through the first month of the season, positioning them as potential sellers ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

While the Patriots certainly don't boast the most talented collection of players, certain individuals could yield a decent return — even if it's only a late-round draft pick. After all, injuries are popping up throughout the NFL at this point in the season, leaving potential playoff contenders desperate to add reinforcements.

Here's a look at four Patriots who could be traded by the end of the month.

1. Kendrick Bourne, WR

The early portion of the 2024 season has seen several notable wide receivers hurt. Names like Cooper Kupp, Rashee Rice, and Puka Nacua have all gone down with lengthy injuries, leaving various teams hungry to add a proven pass-catcher.

Fortunately, the Patriots may have a solution in the form of Kendrick Bourne.

The veteran playmaker is expected to return to practice this week after tearing his ACL last season. Bourne was playing extremely well before disaster struck, racking up 406 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 37 catches across eight games, which had him on pace for one of the best performances of his eight-year career.

If Bourne proves that he can still contribute upon his return, the Patriots could field a lot of offers for his services. He's tallied over 3,400 yards and 21 TDs across 99 career games and could still be good for 800-plus yards per season in the right environment.

It also helps that Bourne's contract situation is solid. According to Spotrac, the 29-year-old wideout only carries a $3.25 million cap hit before that number jumps up to $7.9 million for the 2026 and 2027 campaigns. If he can stay healthy while returning to form, he'll be well worth that price.
