4. Tanner Scott, LHP, Miami Marlins

There is little doubt that the Marlins will be sellers, as they made clear in early May by trading two-time batting champion Luis Arraez. Scott has been absolutely phenomenal out of Miami's bullpen this season, holding opponents to a 1.34 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.

The Red Sox bullpen isn't towards the top of areas of need, but the pen is currently void of a high-leverage lefty arm. Picking up Scott would allow manager Alex Cora some additional flexibility to tailor left-on-left matchups. Scott has held LHB to a .083 batting average.

Liam Hendriks is expected to return after the trade deadline, but it is hard to project what his production will look like. Will Hendriks look like a two-time Reliever of the Year, or will he look like a 35-year-old coming off of Tommy John surgery? The Red Sox can't bank that the veteran will return to his past form and should have some semblance of an insurance policy in the bullpen.

Scott is earning $5.7 million this season and will become a free agent after this season, making him a prime candidate for a playoff team seeking a rental bullpen piece. Boston should be one of the teams calling Miami.
