4. Luke Kornet

Kornet, the 28-year-old seven footer, is the third player on this list who is on an expiring contract. He signed a two-year deal with the team back in July 2022, and earned $2.4 million in 2023-24.

Kornet, undrafted in 2017 out of Vanderbilt, has appeared in a game for five different teams, including two stints with the Celtics. He previously appeared for Boston in 2020-21.

During the regular season, Kornet appeared in 63 games, averaging 15.6 minutes per game. He posted 5.3 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game in the regular season. In this playoff run, he has appeared in 11 games while averaging 3.5 points per game and pulling down 3.6 rebounds per game.

He did play double digit minutes in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but has only played twice since -- five minutes in Game 2 of the ECF and three minutes in Game 1 of the Finals. Needless to say, he is not a core piece of the roster and could be expendable this offseason with his expiring contract.
