Adrian Phillips, S

Another veteran defender who spent his NFL career between the Chargers and the Patriots is Adrian Phillips. The 32-year-old safety spent the last four seasons in New England and didn't miss a single game. He lost a ton of his defensive snaps in 2023 and was more utilized on special teams. But, his versatility proved valuable as he was a do-it-all defensive back who played multiple positions.

His defensive stats show a significant decline for Adrian Phillips over the last two years. He allowed 108.6 and 118.7 passer ratings when targeted in back-to-back years, resulting in his demotion behind Jabrill Peppers and Kyle Dugger.

Phillips has been a respected locker room presence and leader in the NFL for a long time. He will get another shot before he retires but it likely won't be in a large role.

Cam Fleming, OT

With so many offensive tackle-needy teams around the NFL, including the Patriots, it's hard to know why Cam Fleming is still unsigned. The 32-year-old veteran has been dealing with injuries over the last couple of years as he missed 11 games with the Broncos in 2023. When he plays, he can still contribute.

Fleming spent the first four seasons of his career with the Patriots and won two Super Bowls. He has mostly played right tackle throughout his career but has extensive experience at left tackle from his Dallas Cowboys days.

At this stage of his career, he likely can't be trusted as a starter but as a depth option as a swing tackle, you can do much worse.
