The New England Patriots will have a short turnaround this week after losing on Sunday to the Seattle Seahawks, as they will play the New York Jets to kick off Week 3 for Thursday Night Football.

However, before the Patriots can get to Thursday, they might have an issue to resolve involving one of their wide receivers. Veteran wide receiver Jalen Reagor posted a meme on Instagram showing a brand-new car parked next to a house.

Reagor’s Instagram post led to Pats fans speculating what he could be talking about. Some fans poked fun at his social media post saying Reagor was actually talking about rookie quarterback Drake Maye or second-year wide receiver Demario Douglas.

However, Carlos Talks Pats, who posted Reagor’s IG post on Twitter/X made the most sense when he said, “You have to wonder if the veteran wide receiver is unhappy being on New England’s practice squad.”

Reagor was signed to New England’s practice squad late last month after not making the initial cut for the 53-man roster.

The former first-round pick has struggled to find his footing as a starting wide receiver in the NFL but could be a valuable weapon on special teams. That said, one wonders if head coach Jerod Mayo will say anything to Reagor about his social media post.

Mayo benched rookie Javon Baker for the Pats’ Week 1 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals after he posted an NSFW rant on Instagram about a traffic violation. The first-year head coach wasn't happy about this and told reporters that the incident “in no way” represents the Pats.

That said, given the magnitude of the rookie wide receiver’s NSFW rant, and what Reagor posted on Instagram, it’s unlikely he’ll face a lot of heat from the head coach.
