In fact, Barkley went so far as to guarantee the Celtics will hoist the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy at the end of the season. Given Boston's positioning atop the Eastern Conference with a 15-5 record, the Celtics are well-deserved favorites.

With the best net rating in the league (8.5) and top 10 rankings on both offense and defense, the Celtics are as good of a bet as any to win it all. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis make up one of the most dangerous cores in the NBA, and there's plenty of reason to feel optimistic about Boston's chances.
