The New England Patriots have undergone a massive overturn this offseason as they head towards the 2024 campaign.

It started with Bill Belichick out and Jerod Mayo with Eliot Wolf stepping in. They then drafted their next franchise quarterback Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Patriots also drafted Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker to add to the WR core after bringing back Kendrick Bourne and signing K.J. Osborn in free agency.

They could still use a true No. 1 pass catcher and the latest proposed trade for Tee Higgins would be a huge win.

Patriots News: Bleacher Report Released Five Trade Packages for the Bengals Regarding Tee Higgins

On May 30, Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report dropped some trade packages that the Bengals should consider for Higgins.

The trade proposal for the New England Patriots would be a huge win for the organization. The trade offer was a 2025 second-round pick, a 2025 fourth-round pick, and WR DeMario Douglas in exchange for Higgins.

Higgins is a true alpha at the position and would give Maye a dynamic weapon that already has some exciting playmakers in the room.

The Clemson product is a serious vertical threat and dominates in contested catch situations. In four NFL seasons, Higgins has snagged 257 receptions (403) for 3,684 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.

He is looking for a new deal but the Pats are sitting on $38.9 million in cap space after all their moves this offseason.

They have the funds to pay him, especially since they won't have a monster QB contract on the books for some time.

As for Douglas, he played well as a rookie, leading the team in receiving yards (561) with 49 receptions. Although he showed flashes in 2023, getting an opportunity to get a player like Higgins isn't something you can pass up on.
