The New England Patriots are looking to snap their three-game losing streak on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins haven’t played their best football to start the regular season after losing starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to injury.

That said, the Dolphins are still a dangerous team on both sides of the ball and have the players to give New England fits.

With that in mind, the Patriots' offensive line will not have to face one of Miami’s premier pass rushers on Sunday. Dolphins EDGE rusher Jaelan Phillips announced on social media that he suffered a season-ending knee injury requiring reconstructive surgery (h/t ESPN’s Adam Schefter).

This is devastating news for the Dolphins as Phillips suffered a torn Achilles last season in Week 12. The young pass rusher had two quarterback hits, two passes defended, and one sack in four games this season.

In five career games against the Pats, Phillips recorded 14 combined tackles, three quarterback hits, and a sack.

With Phillips out for the season, the Patriots’ offensive line will likely be facing veteran defender Emmanuel Ogbah, who has 14 total tackles, three stuffs, a sack, a pass deflection, and a pass defended.

For his career, the 30-year-old outside linebacker has 43 sacks and 30.5 stuffs. If the Pats can keep Ogbah and the rest of the Dolphins' defensive line at bay and not in Jacoby Brissett’s face, they give themselves a good chance to win on Sunday.  The Patriots enter their Week 5 matchup against the Dolphins as a one-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook.
