Now let's get into some more minor moves:

Luke Kornet

Celtics re-sign Luke Kornet: 1 year, minimum contract

Kornet won't blow you away, but he's a reliable third center, incredible locker room presence, and liable to give at least three or four great quotes a season. He seems to really love Boston, too, and it's worth the veteran minimum just to see him continue his Kornet Kontests.

Grade: A

Celtics re-sign Neemias Queta: 3 year, minimum contract (1 year guaranteed)

The 25-year old Queta showed glimpses during his first year in Boston, playing sparingly and rarely in competitive games. The 7 footer definitely has talent - and could absolutely be a plus defender someday - but his touch around the rim and lateral quickness are both lacking, as of now. There's a path to Queta becoming a rotational NBA player, though, and it's hard to argue with a minimum contract where the Celtics hold all the power.

Grade: A-

Celtics re-sign JD Davison, Drew Peterson to two-way deals

Both Davison and Peterson are somewhat promising - the former an Alabama standout, and the latter a star at USC. The duo was instrumental in the Maine Celtics' berth in last season's G League Finals, both playing leading roles; however, their NBA viability is very much in question.

Grade: B

Celtics draft F Anton Watson #54 overall*

Watson enters the league as another older college player; like Scheierman, he'll be 24 by the start of the season. The 6'8" forward is an explosive athlete who shot 41% from three in his senior year at Gonzaga, but a 65% free-throw percentage suggests that number is due to regress to the mean. If he can improve his shot, Watson has a chance to stick - until then, he projects as a G-Leaguer or end-of-bench depth, at best. For now, he's simply the player picked before Bronny James.

*Watson has not signed a contract with Boston yet. He's projected to sign a two-way deal.

Grade: B+
