The New England Patriots lost again in Week 6, falling 21-17 to the Las Vegas Raiders for their third straight defeat.

There was plenty of blame to go around as the Patriots fell to 1-5 on the season. Mac Jones, Bill Belichick and DeVante Parker caught much of the flak from fans, but at least one New England player wasn't happy with the officiating crew.

Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson was livid after the game, blasting the refs for calling defensive pass interference on him during a key play late in the fourth quarter.

The former Pro Bowler believed he was wronged by the call, calling the flagged play "good coverage, tight coverage." He doubled down, saying "I played it exactly how I wanted to play it."

As for the flag? BS, according to Jackson.

The flag there was certainly questionable and may have been a favorable call for the home team with the game being played in Las Vegas. If the game had been played in New England, perhaps the refs would've swallowed their whistles and let the play go.

Regardless, it stinks when the refs flag borderline plays late in games, especially during such a pivotal part of the contest when the Patriots were trying to mount a comeback. Unless it's an obvious penalty, the zebra crew is better off letting the players play and decide the outcome themselves.

Jackson, like many of his teammates, is simply frustrated with New England's poor performance recently. The Pats can't seem to catch a break, and getting tough calls from the refs isn't helping.

Hopefully New England gets some more love from the officials against the Buffalo Bills at home in Week 7, but even that might not be enough to help the Pats pull off the upset.
