The New England Patriots are 1-1 heading into the divisional clash against the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

Last week, they were beaten by the Seattle Seahawks 23-20 in overtime so they are seeking to get a bounce-back win in Week 3.

Divisional games are always tough but this matchup against the New York Jets got a bit more difficult for Rhamondre Stevenson on Wednesday.

Patriots News: Two Starting Offensive Linemen Will Miss TNF vs. Jets

According to the Patriots' official X page, left tackle Vederian Lowe (knee) and guard Sidy Sow (ankle) are slated to miss the contest against the Jets. Meanwhile, right tackle Mike Onwenu (wrist) and center David Andrews (hip) are listed as questionable.

Those are massive injury concerns for a team that is looking to run the ball. After two games, New England is tied for fourth in the NFL in rushing offense (177.5).

The driving force for this ground attack is Stevenson. The Oklahoma product is a bruising force in the backfield that rarely goes down at first contact. He's tied for third in the league in carries (46), fifth in rushing yards (201), and tied for second in rushing touchdowns (2). The 26-year-old has recorded 80-plus rushing yards in both games as well but that may be more difficult to due to a depleted offensive line.

What makes this sting some more is that the Jets' run defense has struggled to start the campaign. New York is 24th in the league in run defense (155) with 4.7 yards per rush.

With two backups being thrust into the lineup, Stevenson will have his work cut out for him.
