3. Philadelphia Eagles

After spending the majority of his career with the Cowboys, could you imagine Elliott suiting up for the rival Philadelphia Eagles? Well, it turns out that was nearly a possibility this season.

Before signing with the Patriots, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles were one of the RB's final destinations. Things obviously didn't end up working out between the sides, but I wouldn't be shocked if they revisited negotiations this offseason.

The Eagles' run game just wasn't the same this season, averaging 128.8 rushing yards per game (8th) after putting up 159.7 in 2022 (3rd). Additionally, the team's running back room only combined for seven red-zone TDs — a major decrease from the 16 last season.

With D'Andre Swift, Rashaad Penny, and Boston Scott slated to hit free agency in March, Philadelphia's backfield could have quite a few holes, opening the door for Elliott's arrival.

Although the 2023 campaign wasn't his best, Elliott could still be productive if Philadelphia returns to its run-first mentality. On top of that, he scored three TDs on 11 red-zone attempts, proving that he's still a threat inside the 20-yard line after scoring 12 TDs on 39 RZ attempts in 2022.

While playing for a former rival might be tough for Elliott at first, he'll get over it if it means potentially winning his first Super Bowl ring.
