Mac Jones Throws Shade at Patriots in New Video

After three years together, the marriage between Mac Jones and New England ended this offseason. On Mar. 10, the Pats sent Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

It was a promising rookie campaign for Jones but things went extremely bad over the following two years. As both sides have fresh starts for 2024, Jones made a video talking about his hobbies. He named golfing, fishing, going to the beach, and even said rapping.

The Alabama product said no one knew about the rapping part but he decided to share since he's no longer in New England.

Under former coach Bill Belichick, New England was known for being very serious and only focusing on football. You would always hear things like "The Patriot Way" and how players didn't express themselves much.

You saw it with Tom Brady when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and now Jones is giving the fans a glimpse of his life outside of football.

Who knows if Jones will turn out to become a better player in Jacksonville but one thing that's for certain is he's opening up more.

The relationship between the 25-year-old and Belichick soured over the last season, which led to Jones being benched multiple times.

The 2021 first-round pick finished his Pats career with an 18-24 record, 8,918 passing yards, 46 passing touchdowns, and 36 interceptions.
