New England's defense took a hit in 2023 when their best player went down. Linebacker Matthew Judon suffered a torn bicep in the Week 4 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. He was ruled out for the season but he is rehabbing tirelessly to get back on the field.

It takes about three to four months for the bicep muscle to heal and Judon in now hitting that mark. The Grand Valley State product seems to be hitting the gym as a new video of him rehabbing has surfaced on social media.

In the video above, Judon seems to be leaning on a platform with his left hand and jumps to the ground before pushing himself up with his right arm. This is a beautiful sight to see for Patriots fans.

The 31-year-old joined New England in 2021 after agreeing to a four-year, $54 million deal. Since coming over to Foxborough, Judon has been extremely productive. Over the past three seasons, the 2016 fifth-round pick has recorded 32 sacks, 133 total tackles, and two forced fumbles.

Judon appeared on 98.5’s The Sports Hub’s Felger and Mazz show last week and gave a positive update. “I feel like I’m fully functional. I feel like I got my strength back, my mobility back. I’m ready to play,” Judon said

That's a great sign for New England as they undergo an entire revamp surrounding the organization. Head coach Jerod Mayo has been with the Patriots since Judon came over in 2021. Mayo will certainly be pumped to see one of his best players eager to play in 2024.
