It's officially a new era in Foxborough for the New England Patriots. Jerod Mayo and Eliot Wolf are in charge of the rebuild and have the No. 3 pick at their disposal.

New England has been active on learning this QB class. They brought in Jayden Daniels, J.J. McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr., and Drake Maye for pre-draft visits to get to know each prospect more.

With Caleb Williams and Daniels likely to go 1 & 2 in the NFL Draft, an NFL Insider seems to know who the Pats will select with third overall pick.

Patriots News: Albert Breer Thinks Pats Have Decided Who They Will Select at No. 3

NFL Senior Insider Albert Breer was on Instagram and said, "I now feel pretty good that [Drake Maye] will be a New England Patriot."

As we get closer to the draft and teams are finalizing their boards, players names begin to pop out. That's the case with Maye and New England.

Chad Graff of the Athletic also thinks that Maye is the guy for the Pats.

He said, "But what has become clearer in recent days is how high the Patriots are on Maye, whom they view as a close-to-ideal fit for the offense they want to run."

Maye stands at 6'4 and weighs 223 pounds, showing his prototypical size at the position. He owns a powerful throwing arm and has the ability to deliver darts on the move.

During his three years at North Carolina, Maye threw for 8,018 passing yards with 63 passing scores. With the draft only a day away, it looks like the Pats will be selecting their franchise quarterback and it sounds like Maye will be the pick.

Rolling into Thursday, Maye is the overwhelming favorite at -290 to be the selection at No. 3.
