2. Sam Hartman

The former Notre Dame and Wake Forest star quarterback doesn’t have the athleticism/arm talent Milton possesses.

However, Hartman showed that he can throw the ball around the yard and has the accuracy to be a solid quarterback at the next level. This past season at Notre Dame, the 6-foot-1 Hartman completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 2,689 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

Hartman’s completion percentage improved each year he played, which is what you want to see as a team looking for a QB2/QB3. The third-team All-ACC quarterback also has the experience that some teams love as he’s played in 60 college games.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound quarterback like Milton also met with the Patriots at the Senior Bowl in January. Hartman has above-average velocity on his passes, which helps him drive the ball to where he wants it to go.

With Hartman being 25 years old, teams might be hesitant to draft him because they might feel he’s maxed out. However, his age and experience might help him step in as a rookie.
