After a promising start in the first game of the season, the New England Patriots 2024 campaign has been going downhill ever since. Coming off a disappointing home loss to the Miami Dolphins in their fourth straight defeat on Sunday, things took a turn for the worse for Patriots fans on Monday morning.
It was reported that starting safety Jabrill Peppers was arrested on Saturday and is now facing troubling charges that include strangulation, assault and battery, and possession of a Class B substance, according to the police in Braintree, Massachusetts.
ESPN's Mike Reiss reported that the police responded to a disturbance at a residential address early Saturday morning when a caller reported an altercation between two people. One of them was Peppers, who will reportedly be arraigned Monday in Quincy District Court.

""We are aware of an incident involving Jabrill Peppers over the weekend in which the police are currently investigating. We will have no further comment at this time."
