The New England Patriots headed into the 2024 NFL Draft with specific holes along the offense. They have eight total selections in this draft and they made sure to address the offensive side of the ball.

It started with the No. 3 pick when they selected North Carolina's Drake Maye. They continued to add talent to that side of the ball to surround their young signal caller.

They snagged Ja'Lynn Polk at No. 37 overall before adding Caedan Wallace and Layden Robinson to the trenches with the next two picks.

Eliot Wolf didn't stop there, sniping another playmaker on Day 3 and he's using his slide in the draft as motivation.

Patriots News: Javon Baker Gives a Raw Reaction To Being Drafted on Day 3

With the No. 110 overall pick, New England swiped up UCF WR Javon Baker.

The Georgia native was live on Instagram and a gave NSFW response to his draft slide. Baker said, "Took to f****** long… Y’all finna pay.”

It's clear to see that Baker felt that he was disrespected by being drafted in the fourth round. It's something that he'll head into the 2024 season thinking about.

Baker is an explosive and smooth playmaker on the outside. The 22-year-old can climb the ladder to make contested catches and has big-play ability downfield.

Over the past two seasons at UCF, he racked up 108 receptions for 1,935 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. In 2023, he averaged a whopping 21.9 yards per reception.

He certainly has the skillset to be productive at the next level and heads into his NFL career with a chip on his shoulder.
