Since Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, the New England Patriots have had an offensive line problem. Jacoby Brissett faces a ton of pressure on a weekly basis as the porous offensive line is struggling to protect him.

The offensive line was already a problem before the injuries hit. Now, the unit is extremely short-handed, with center David Andrews being the latest addition to the injury report. Chuks Okorafor and Cole Strange are already out and Vederian Lowe, Caedan Wallace, and Nick Leverett are all dealing with injuries right now.

The need for an upgrade is obvious, especially if the Patriots want to start rookie Drake Maye at some point in the season.

Fortunately for them, a potential new trade partner is emerging and they may have the solution to New England's problems. The Jacksonville Jaguars, after starting the season 0-4, may go on a fire sale, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler identified a potential trade target for the Patriots.

"The Jaguars have three starting-caliber offensive tackles, with Walker Little as the odd man out. Teams always need offensive line help and will make calls accordingly."

Fowler doesn't specify the Patriots by name but it's hard to find a team in need of offensive line help more than New England. Walker Little is the name Fowler throws out there and that makes plenty of sense.

Despite starting most of last season, Little has been demoted to a backup role behind Cam Robinson and Anton Harrison, only playing 25 snaps on the season. In his previous three seasons at Jacksonville, Little has been a solid left tackle and left guard. This season, he has played spot snaps at right tackle, showing his versatility. The former second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Little would be an intriguing option for the Patriots who need help across the offensive line.
