But that’s totally flipped on defense. PFF has them both as top-10 units on that side of the ball. They both allow bottom-eight marks in yards per play to opponents, so there's a good chance we see a low-scoring slugfest here. 

And why the Patriots -1.5? As you can see in the stats above, this is a pretty evenly matched contest. Neither team has a clear advantage on either side of the ball. And while Bill Belichick has made some questionable coaching decisions lately, he's still an edge for New England in a close matchup like this. The Pats are also at home, which gives them an extra boost as well.
