6. Malcom Brown

After the Dominique Easley flop in the 2014 NFL Draft, Bill Belichick decided to try his luck with another defensive tackle in the 2015 draft. With the 32nd overall pick, New England selected Malcom Brown out of the University of Texas.

Brown would play four seasons with the Patriots, appearing in 60 regular season games and 11 playoff games. He played in three Super Bowls and was a member of both New England's Super Bowl LI and LIII title-winning teams. In Brown's Patriots' career 8.5 sacks, 186 tackles, and 103 tackles for loss. He was tabbed to the All-Rookie Team in 2015 after three sacks and two fumble recoveries in his first pro season.

Belichick declined to pick up Brown's fifth-year option, who found a new home with the New Orleans Saints when he inked a three-year, $15 million deal in March 2019. Brown was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in March 2021, where he started all 17 games for the Jags. He was released by Jacksonville in August 2022 and has not appeared in an NFL game since.

Brown wasn't exactly a game wrecker on the defensive interior, but he was a serviceable part of two Super Bowl teams and only missed three games in four years. That's good enough for sixth on this list.
